Kelly Ann has performed all over Australia, in Asia and last year took her talents to LA, New York & London, where she was selected from hundreds of thousands of people, to be one of the fresh faces for Mcdonalds Packaging for 2007 for her swing dancing, the only Australian to be selected.
Along with performing, Kelly is also a singer, choreographer, a model and a budding stage actress, playing the lead and choreographing two period musicals in Melbourne last year. Directing a professional cast of 25 dancers. The experience left her thirsty for more stage work and of course, another urge to try something new.
Early last year, Sugartime producers asked her to come and dance for their burlesque nights with 34B. New to the scene kelly and her partner andy stepped into an unknown world, being the first swing dancers to be showcased at a burlesque event, not knowing what to expect and since then they have never looked back.
Kelly's style has gone from being traditional, to now anything but..
she believes she has found the missing link in swing dancing for the younger generation. Her style has been described as "hot, fast and down right dirty", "foot work that it needs to be seen to be believed" and "aerials that will make your head spin, she has no fear"...
Fresh off her first east coast tour with 'The Absinth Club' showcasing over 30 amazing acts, Kelly Doll and Cougar Jones were featured performers in the show, and were widely accepted to be apart of the future of Australian Burlesque.
