Favorite Shoe Brands?

Do you have a specific brand of ballroom shoes that you feel is more durable/higher quality? I've always found Capezio to be pretty good, but I was wondering if a more ballroom-specific brand might be more worthwhile.

I'm a Capezio fan. Always have ben and always will be. But, and I hate to admit this, I will often use whatever shoes I really just like the look of...even if they aren't the best for my feet!

When I am practicing I usually, sadly... use whatever normal shoes I always wear. I do not look for anything special. However I plan on joining some competitions soon so I will be shopping for some name-brand professional shoes soon.

When I am only practicing I like to just put on my comfortable pair of Vans. Yes i know these are skate shoes, but they feel so good. When performing I always go with the Capezio that I usually have to find and buy on the internet.

My wife never goes for any dance specific shoes. She just put on what she plans to wear. And we never participated in any competitions so far. We are not that good dancers yet.
