To be honest. I can not stand that show at all. The "stars" are mostly washed out "stars" from years ago that no one actually knows anymore. Their dancing style is only good once in a while.
I am not a huge fan of Dancing with the Stars. I know most of them cannot dance when the show starts but I still get a deep feeling that the entire thing is just fake. Most of the behind the scene stuff is not shown to us so we never get to see the people really getting to learn how to dance.
Did not Jerry Springer dance last season? I believe he did, and wow I can not stand him. Anything with him in it I will not watch. The show needs to get some real talented dancers instead of these washed out losers.
Yes he did participate. But that was actually pretty cool of him. He made the show entertaining. He was perhaps the worse dancer the show has ever seen but he joked about that and made things interesting. It was really neat how he joked about something he was not very good at.
I wished dancing with the stars will also feature dancers who are stars in their own right. There are lots of popular stars out there who have propelled themselves as celebrities by merely dancing. It would also be good if dancing with the stars would include more than just ballroom themes.
[b]I think they need to get more people on that show who have some common sense. There are too many actors out there these days that just have no idea what is going on. Their sense of reality has been destroyed. We need more down to earth celebrities to be on these shows.B]

They do spend some long hours trying to master these dancing skills. The sports stars are already athletic and this helps them a bit. Actors are usually in better shape than a lot of common folks and that helps them quite a bit.
