Cumbia Salsa

Does anybody here like Cumbian Styled Salsa? It is a dance style from Colombia that is slightly based upon Salsa. Most salsa purists will say it is not a true form of salsa music due to the fact that it does not hav Son rhythms and the lack of a clave. However it is still fairly decent and worth a listen.

I have heard about this kind of music before and I have tp agree that it is not a true form of Salsa Dancing. The beats are nothing compared to the more traditional Salsa. However Cumbia Salsa is still very good and should not be discredited for any reason.

I think one cannot exclude it from Salsa. I mean take this for example. There are several types of country music styles. There is bluegrass. Then tehre is the country like Toby Keith. Both are different but still Country. Cumbia and Salsa are the same.
