ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old Dance teacher, Dancer, Choreographer, Pilates Instructor, and Promotions Assistant. I currently own a Performing Arts Studio in the Blue Mountains, teach for various other schools, dance for Fabba, SW Dance Company, and Anthea J Productions. I am trained in Contemporary, Modern, Classical, Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, Tap, Soft Shoe, Capoeira, and some break dance. I'd love to learn Ballroom, Latin, and pole dancing!

I combined Tap and Contemporary in a work called 'Paroxysm'. It took months to create, but it was incredibly rewarding.

My Dance Story
|
|
Danced part time, winning Peter Oxford's ADC in Tap two years running. Commenced years 11 and 12 at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. Gained Dux both years, and topped the state in the NSW HSC Dance and Classical Ballet courses 2002 with 100%. Toured to USA, work experience with Alvin Ailey Co, New World School of the Arts. Studies full time ballet at Alegria Studios, completed all RAD majors in one year, and two Cecchetti Majors within the same year. Attended ED5 full time, before being offered work as a back up dancer in several shows. Taught from the age of 16. and currently own my own dance school, and work semi-professionally in the industry. Would love to win the lotto so I can attend ACPE, or ASA in Adeliade. I dance to live!

I Started Dancing...

Because my parents thought I was too shy. I later found out my mother danced with the Victoria Ballet, and my grandparents were PanPacific Champions in Professional Ballroom.
